Festival of Gospel Melodies A Success

Angelic, glorious, heavenly and magnificent are some of the adjectives used to describe this year’s National Children Choir Festival, which took place at the L’Abayee S.D.A. Church, Saturday November 17th, 2018.

The Children’s Ministries Department of the Saint Lucia Mission of Seventh-Day Adventist, hosted its fourth festival of Gospel Melodies coined “Celebrating the Love of Jesus Sing Sing Sing!!!

19+choirs across the island of Saint Lucia came ablaze with fire rich gospel renditions. This season they broke the glass ceiling an raise the bar for the glory of God to new levels.

From four years, 100 plus to 400 participants took part in the festival of Gospel Melodies; that’s according Children Ministries Director of the SDA church Doctor Dolstan Morian.

He indicated that this program continues to provide children the opportunity to celebrate the Love of Jesus as they participate meaningfully in the life of the church.

There has been an increase in Leader and Coordinator participation leading up to the event.

Sister Deborah Henry and Sister Dinovah Rivera; Caribbean Union Conference and Inter-Americian Division’s Children & Adolescent Ministries Directors were in attendance and also addressed the gathering.
