With all its colors and pomp, November 3rd 2018 was like no other. A glorious Sabbath it was for all those who gathered at the Vigie Multi-purpose Sports Complex to witness and participate in the St Lucia Mission’s Pathfinders and Adventures Investiture Service, under the theme “Count Me In.”
The foot-tapping rhythm of the drums signaled the beginning of the procession and the start of what every Adventure and Pathfinder longed for, to receive their hard earned recognition.
15 districts across the island were represented with area coordinators from the following locations providing, a report of their performance.

It was a lot of movement of fingers, as 912 Pathfinders and Adventurers of the Youth Department of the Saint Lucia Mission of Seventh-Day Adventist were pinned.
However, growth of that number is resolute in the mind of Pastor Quigley Morris, Youth Director of the SDA church. The plan he says is to continue to get young people involved in the clubs. He indicated that this year he saw a slight increase from the last; and hopes to see the trend continue. He also encouraged parents to play their part in getting their children actively involved in educating the upcoming generation.
Pathfinders are a worldwide organization of young people sponsored by the Seventh-Day Adventist Church. The organization offers a wide range of activities including camp and survival skills, grade-appropriate leadership training and activities promoting community and environmental pride through involvement.
